Who: Azazeal
What: Getting the daily report
When: Today
When: The Inn
Warnings: None
Moments after Kaitlyn and Gabriel had been attacked, one of the nephilim appeared to Azazeal to tell him what had happened. The girl who had shown up months ago was after Kaitlyn and unbeknownst to her, there was a ready duo of soldiers at her side the moment there was a threat. The girl known as Frost had been killed and Kaityln had gotten away safely. A second demon appeared soon after to say that the girl had been turned by one of the local vampires, Selene. Dismissing the nephilim, Azazeal sat in his study and deliberated over what was to be done. It was clear that Frost was disturbed since the moment she arrived into town. Kaitlyn had explained some of their history together, but without seeing and feeling the effects of the crystal itself, it was hard to completely understand though he saw the outcome after the fact.
She'd attacked one that he now considered to be his own. Someone that lived in his new home and offered his protection to. If he'd been there, she would have been killed quickly. However, Selene was a capable woman and even though he questioned some of her methods, he questioned many people's methods these days, he thought perhaps someone as strong and confident as she seemed to be could handle a new vampire such as Frost. Of course, if he proved to be wrong about this assumption, the matter would be taken care of quickly and efficiently. The girl had only been human before and threatened Gabriel and Kaitlyn. He would not have a vampire doing the same. The wrath of her sire would be taken and dealt with accordingly.
There was time to think on that later, so when he knew that the two psychics were back inside the inn, he spoke with both of them and questioned what had happened. It seemed they'd brought back a friend with them. A girl named Lydia that normally lived inside of the prison. Between the three of them, he was told that the boy who had more recently arrived was killed. Not a vampire, but killed. He didn't give the information regarding Frost away because he knew there would be a harsh reaction and it was too soon to alarm them all over again before he had details.
With the new breed of zombies in town, they'd assured him that they would stay inside the Inn or close to it. There was a firm suggestion that no one leave the Inn alone until the witches were gone. Nephilim still guarded the Inn closely and remained stationed throughout the town, but he did not want to pull them from their marks because they were here for a reason. Problems with people being caught out alone could be easily avoided. He worried for Claire out on her own away from town and the protection he'd set up in Everett, but did assign a fallen guard to her even if he knew she would likely protest if she knew. The thought made him smile a bit because as usual when they butted heads, he didn't care if she became upset as long as she was taken care of. Indestructible or not, there were other ways to hurt a person besides killing them.
Castiel kept in touch regarding musings on either side regarding Viktoria and the baby. There were rumbles here and there, but nothing of consequence. He wasn't sure what this meant, but he was certain they wouldn't be this quiet for good. There was too much left unsaid and too many questions left unanswered. The views of both heaven and hell were well known and it was likely only a matter of time until one of them made their move. He would be able to defend his blood when that time came.
