He listened intently as he watched the floor before him and walked.
"Better n' we expected. Pulled in enough food to tide everyone over til the next trip, at least." She must have known about the food though. Surely she wanted to know about something else he just didn't know what she would be interested to hear. "Lot of stores don't get cleaned out... little things..." he glanced up at her, stopping and hesitating before holding out the package.
"Take this. You'll be needin' one anyway, for practice." he didn't think she'd recognize that it was his gun...but he didn't think it mattered anyway. He knew it worked, it was trustworthy, and he hadn't used it too much so it still had a good life ahead of it. A gun was a gun, it was just protection, the sentimentality was lost to him.
