Kennedy had been trying to spend as much time out of her cell as possible lately. Her roommate, while annoying already, had been even more so lately. It probably made her a bitch for thinking that and for avoiding Hanna, but after the deaths of two people that were pretty important to the prison, Kennedy couldn't handle more sadness. All Hanna wanted to talk about was her boyfriend Caleb that she hadn't seen since the outbreak and all the hypothetical things that have happened to him. It was just too much on Kennedy, so she had started making up excuses to leave and to avoid Hanna. Playing shrink and having girl talk about boys definitely wasn't Kennedy's thing. Something else that was definitely not Kennedy's thing was relationships. After the horrible breakup with Willow and the bitterness that followed, Kennedy couldn't deal with the drama and crap that relationships seemed to bring. She'd hooked up on the road with Carla and they'd had some fun, but she'd took off on her while she was asleep one night, deciding it was easier to bail before anything got too serious. But, as bitter as she'd been for over a year now, Kennedy suddenly found herself unable to stop thinking about someone she'd only seen a couple of times in passing; Mia Rinaldi. Yet no matter how much time she'd looked around the prison, she hadn't seemed to be able to find her. It was weird and Kennedy wondered if maybe she only existed in her dreams. She was gonna go looking again after her sentry shift. Maybe she could start asking around, hey, yeah that would work.
But before she could start her quest of locating Mia, she was distracted by the announcement of the coffee delivery. It was Garcia, who always made the rounds with coffee. She was pretty cool, always smiling and making jokes. "Hey Garcia." Kennedy grinned. "Any chance there's a triple tall, extra hot, caramel latte on that tray for me?" Her sudden good mood brought on that little joke and she laughed, since obviously Starbucks was long gone with the zombies taking over. "Hey, by the way, do you uh, maybe know this girl named Mia Rinaldi?"
