Who: Robin and Dante What: Date night! Or, er...something. >> When: Thursday Where: Starting at the prison, then out and about. Warnings: TBD
Robin Scherbatsky had never really believed in romance. Romance was for people like Ted, who believed in fate, and destiny, and signs the universe set forward. They wanted marriage, and children, and the whole white picket fence idea back when the world was still full of possibilities. Now the world was full of zombies, but Robin's idea of romance hadn't changed much. It was pointless in this new world, where the future was so uncertain. It was ridiculous to get so emotionally invested when your heart was just going to get torn to shreds from one second to the next. Some of her friends used to call her cynical for having that viewpoint, but she hadn't cared. Sure, she had her share of heartbreak, but they were temporary. It wasn't like the heartbreak she saw in Serena the day that Nate died. It was nothing compared to that, and she wanted to keep it that way.
That was the plan, at least, until she found herself longing for the day that Dante would show up and visit. She had seen him around whenever he visited his friend at the prison and, while she hadn't thought much of it before, now she just wanted him to show up. It had been that longing that had made her finally want to reach out to him, and he had agreed to drop by. It made her so happy that she sang to herself the entire time she showered, and dressed. She tousled her hair just right, used the pants that hugged her legs and ass in all the right places, and threw on a top that accentuated her figure properly. It felt like it had been a while since she had gotten dolled up for anything, her life revolving around refusing to sleep and sentry shifts lately, and this was a welcome escape. Her body was buzzing with energy, and she just wanted to see him. Wherever he was going to take her, he just hoped that they would get a chance to be alone at some point.
Once she was ready to go, she grabbed a thin black jacket just to throw on, and with every ounce of confidence in the world she strolled through the prison and towards the gate. Robin was a woman that, once she knew what she wanted, did whatever was in her power to get it, and this was no exception. She knew she loved Dante, she just felt it running all over her, and she was going to see him tonight. They would be together tonight.
As soon as she signed out, she saw him at a distance, and she smiled to herself as she felt her heart flutter. Without even a glimpse back at the prison, she smiled seductively at her man as she approached him. "Hey. Lead the way, handsome."
