She couldn't help the faint, amused smile that tugged at the corners of her lips at his response. Before she had a chance to respond, he was off, shooting dinner for the night. Or part of dinner. She had no idea how many people were at the prison that needed to be fed. But he'd always been great at keeping their group fed, and obviously it was a skill he still utilized.
She watched as he gathered up the raccoon and then they started to walk again. She felt her chest tighten painfully at the idea of him leaving. She'd been through that once, and even though he said he was coming back and she knew he was skilled enough at what he did that she shouldn't worry, she still did. "Oh, I see," she answered, nodding. She wasn't sure what all the raiders did, but she guessed a large part of it was find food and other supplies. Probably scavenging what was left at stores and the like.
