Who: Sam and Viktoria with Azazeal to the rescue or Npc'd to the rescue
What: Sam and Vik run into some trouble
When: tonight
Where: on the way to the Inn
Warnings: demon fighting ahoy
The atmosphere at the prison was depressing right now. Nate, Matt and Barney were dead. How three lives could be lost so suddenly was hard to comprehend. Though Viktoria thought maybe it should be easy to understand. After all, it was an apocalypse. Loss of life was supposed to be par for course. It was just beyond her right now to understand why it had happened.
Her heart broke for Clint having no choice but to kill his brother to protect himself. She could not imagine having to live with killing one of her siblings, no matter what brought it on. Then there was Matt and Nate's friends and family. Such devastating losses and sadness all around. She'd taken Allison out to the Inn the first night, but now she was itching to go again. She'd covered some extra shifts in the kitchen for Serena, and she was off Sentry for the night so she decided to find Sam and see if the offer to be her buddy at any time still stood.
Sam. That was something she was still confused about. She could tell he was disappointed that this baby wasn't his. It hurt her heart a little to know that he wanted something that could have been his, but in the end it was someone elses. Not that she wasn't happy for Azazeal. He'd wanted children for so long, and now he was going to have another. Viktoria cared deeply about both men. They were so different, but both were important to her. Sam was a good man, and she knew that whomever ended up with him as a partner would be a lucky girl. She hoped he would have the children he wanted. He deserved it, and she knew he would be a good father.
Turning a corner down the hall, she came upon the room he shared with her charge. Adrian wasn't around, so she paused in the doorway, watching Sam for a moment. He was so tall and handsome. A lucky girl indeed would be the one who ended up with him. "Hello. Are you busy?"
She smiled at him as she waited for him to acknowledge her presence. Perhaps he would enjoy the trip away as well. If she felt overwhelmed by the sadness, she couldn't imagine he was liking it much more.
