"I know you may be a million years old, but the days of a man dictating what a woman does when she is with child are long over!" Her voice was louder now. Sharp and and furious. He did not understand how he was coming across. She would never allow anyone to make her choices for her.
"You do not have the right to force your protection on me. It is not your way or no way. I am an adult and I have the right to carry out my duties and live the life I want. The life I feel benefits our child. You will show me respect. I've agreed to come to you as I normally do. If something changes and I decide to move away here, then it will be my choice not yours!"
She stepped away from him again, her anger so full on that she was resisting the urge to slap him and storm off. Viktoria looked away as she attempted to get a grip on her emotions. He had everything all planned out, and she had barely come to accept that she was indeed with child.
"I need time to figure things out. You will keep what you know about our child quiet until I have had a chance to inform my brother and sister about my condition. Once they are aware, we can attempt to discuss things again. Is there anything else you require of me?"
