Who: Priya and Tony What: Fighting Glory's minions When: Backdated to Monday when the Glory battle went down Warnings: Angst, violence, all that good shit
Priya usually stuck to the infirmary. Out of all of her imprints, Dr. Gawas tended to be the one Priya could handle the most. Not only was she needed to help treat the injured because not everyone preferred to be healed by the magic users or with vampire blood. She knew it bothered Dr. Yang to be made obsolete whereas Dr. Fell embraced it. Priya fell somewhere in the middle, happy to help where she could but also happy to take a step back and let the magic users take over if that was in the best interest of the patient. Priya kept her other imprints tightly locked in the back of her mind, fearful that if she embraced them the way that Victor and Echo did that she would become Sierra permanently.
She always knew there might come a time when she would have to fight. She had already learned some self defense in the prison and the shoot came back easily to her, muscle memory she guessed from her many imprints. But she tried not to actively access them if she could help it. But she always knew that someday she might need to and that day had come. Saving the world seemed a lot more important than Priya's righteous moral indignation as well as her mental health. She knew that Anthony would go out fighting and she wouldn't hide behind him.
Before they went out to join the battle, Priya sat down on her bunk and closed her eyes. In her mind's eye she was greeting herself in an empty room. Except that it wasn't herself, it was Sierra that was approaching her.
"I don't want to hurt you, Priya," Sierra said, her dark eyes solemn as they studied Priya. "I'm part of you. If you can accept that you'll be happier and healthier. You know that."
Priya shook her head. "No. You're who they turned me into. You're not me."
"They may have turned you but I'm still a part of you now for better or worse. I can help you, Priya. You're an artist. You're not a fighter. Sit this fight out and let me help you save the world. You know we were always destined to."
Priya swallowed hard. She knew that what Sierra was telling her was the truth. No matter how she tried to fight it. Priya was Sierra. They were a part of each other now and she had to accept it the way Anthony accepted Victor and Caroline accepted Echo. Sierra stepped forward and their two identical bodies merged before Priya opened her eyes. Her senses were on instant alert and she grabbed her handgun, checked it for ammo before loading up. Sierra was in full control right now and was ready to head into battle.
She met with Victor at the gate and gave him a grim smile before she hefted herself up into the passenger seat of his truck.
"Are you ready to face the end of the world?" she asked him. Her Australian accent was replaced by an American one but no matter what imprint Sierra put on they all had one thing in common. They all loved him.
