Who: Tyler and NPC Caroline used with permission What: Tank day narrative When: Backdated to Tank Day Warnings: The usual violence
The moment Tyler saw Caroline be grabbed out of the air and thrown down to the ground like she was nothing at all, he felt his wolf instincts starting to rise. Fury surged through him and he rushed forward and made it just in time to catch her before she hit the ground. His eyes connected with hers and he was relieved she was alright, angry that it had happened in the first place, but most of all the strongest sense of protectiveness hit his senses and he set her on her feet. He'd nearly taken off at a run to take her away from the fight, but he knew she would make him pay for that later and only run back into it anyway. Better that he could make sure she was okay himself than worrying if she was going to show up and fight somewhere that he couldn't keep an eye on her.
Grabbing one of the guns they'd brought out with them, Tyler changed out the clip and began to fire over and over again. The zombies they were used to fighting would go down without any trouble. They were slow and barely knew what they were doing even if they were persistent. This fucker? He was a bottle of pure power and rage. Luckily, so was Tyler.
"Get back!" He yelled out about the gun fire, backing up both him and Caroline as the tank kept moving forward. How the hell it was still standing he had no idea, but the thing kept going. No matter how many hits it took or bullets that were fired into it, it wasn't stopping. Tyler could have sworn he saw one of the Moroi set the thing on fire too and it only pissed it off.
Fed up and tired of barely making a dent into this thing, Tyler ran at full speed and carried the gun firmly in his hands. Once he was close enough he launched himself forward and slammed the gun into its head, firing off a couple of rounds on his way back down to the ground. He landed in a crouch and saw it stumble but regain its grown almost immediately.
Caroline was at his side again and they exchanged a look. She was right. This bitch was going down.
