They were having a face off. And Penny was not going to be the one that lost. Her eyes were on him, one eyebrow raised as he did the same, but his was more of confusion while hers was annoyance. She saw how he was during the ceremony. Making faces and little remarks. She couldn't hear what he was saying, but she could only guess what was coming from his mouth.
Both of them stood inside of the cafeteria. A cafeteria that Penny and her 'girls' put together and decorated for Serena and Nate. It was beautiful and Penny did her best to try and stay on the classy side of things because this was Serena. Whatever wouldn't do. It had to be perfect. Or as perfect as it could be considering what they had.
When he finally spoke, she smiled because she won a game that Sheldon had no idea they were playing. Her hand touched his arm, giving a little rub and she nodded toward the dance floor. She knew he could dance. She'd seen it before. Well, she'd seen him dance like a crazy man, but it was an actual dance. She didn't want that kind of dance though. She wanted a slow song kinda dance. She wanted to be held and that was a long shot coming from Sheldon, but she just wanted to hang out with her friend.
He'd been keeping himself busy as he always did. Avoiding her as he always did. She'd gotten used to it, but right now? He was her date ... so to speak, so she was going to take full advantage of it.
He shook his head, clearly not wanting to, but she nodded again, finally rolling her eyes and pulling him toward the dance floor where a few others were already out there dancing after Nate and Serena did.
Her arms hung loosely over his shoulders, while his arms were nowhere near her. "Put yours arms around me, Sheldon," she gritted out quietly between her teeth.
