The minute Frost took Selene's hand she was instantly filled with different pictures and impressions. It was more intense than it was with regular humans, just because Selene had a much longer set of memories than humans did. Not that Frost could pick out and read Selene's entire history but she got bits and pieces.
She let go of the vampire's hand and licked her bottom lip. "Huh. You protect the prison and you want me to go there, yet you feel conflicted about the place. I can feel it, some kind of betrayal. Hmm." Frost shrugged like it was no big deal and honestly her skills might not be a big deal for Selene who had lived for so long and seen so many things. The blonde psychic should have felt small in Selene's shadow but she wasn't bright enough to fear the other woman. Besides, Frost had scared so many people who didn't understand her power back in the time before. She hated scaring people but then got used to it and now liked it. She wasn't sure how Selene would compare.
"Why would I go to the prison when they tell lies there. Spies and lies. Lies and spies." She shook her head and got herself together. "You have somebody staying with you. A girl." Frost looked past Selene at the house. "Another girl like me." She was younger than Frost but still a lost teenager all the same.
