"It's hilarious that I say stop and you think it means go," he sighed. Of course she would go. She had a quick temper, he knew that. Maybe he fell into it, but it seemed the only thing they'd fight about lately was whether or not they'd stay at the inn. Gabriel wanted to leave while Kaitlyn wanted to stay and there was no way in hell he was leaving her behind. The thought hadn't even crossed his mind.
The people at the inn were interesting and he knew that he should give them a chance. After all, they opened up their home to them, but for how long? How long would it take for them to send both he and Kaitlyn packing? Kaitlyn didn't think like that. He could see that she trusted them and that was part of it that angered him. She was opening herself up to other people when it was just the two of them for so long.
"Whatever you want, Kaitlyn." He turned and looked at her then. He couldn't deny it. They'd been found. Frost and Jackal Mac would no doubt be coming for them, their attacks would be much more worse than they had been and Azazeal was a fallen angel. Kaitlyn had told him about Azazeal. He still didn't feel comfortable relying on others when it came to their problems. He wanted to figure it out himself. He wanted to be the one.
