Phoebe studied Lissa closely. She could sense something of the other girl's deep trepidation, but it wasn't something she decided to go into right now, particularly since they weren't precisely alone at the moment, and their conversation wouldn't be as private as either woman might prefer just now. "It's not something I can ever forget," she admitted quietly.
She tilted her head at Lissa's words, and then nodded. "I know he will. It's just been hard to even say this aloud before. And thanks for the offer...I think I'll be taking you up on it, for sure. Since we both live at the prison, we can - "
Phoebe broke off as Lissa's hand rested on hers and she felt the familiar sensation of a vision slam into her mind, but rather than a premonition of the future, she sensed immediately that it was of the past. She could see the young woman in front of her trapped in a room and staring at a man she seemed to fear, choking while trying to resist being forced to do something. Before the vision could progress too far, Phoebe forcibly pulled herself out of it and found her other hand resting on top of Lissa's to sandwich it against hers, almost as though she were comforting the blonde rather than the other way around.
"You're stronger than you think, you know," she murmured quietly, compassionate eyes gazing into the queen's. After a moment, Phoebe smiled again. "And as I was saying, we can meet soon, back at the prison."
