Lissa took another sip of the soda she'd brought over with her and nodded with a smile. "It really is," she agreed. "Sometimes the place gets so crowded sometimes. I love the people inside, but the emotions run high more often than not." She knew that Phoebe was a magic user, even if it was of a different sort than their vampire magic, and that she was an empath. The spirit wasn't exactly the same, but she could see the emotions come to life and the colors swarmed before her eyes if she wasn't cautious in tuning the auras out.
"You have to deal with that a lot, don't you? I don't feel the emotions, but I can see them."
Adrian usually was more tuned into them in a regular basis but he admitted to her that unless he focused, they often blended together. Lissa had spent a lot of time with Sonya and she'd helped her gain that focus and master the ability to read them. Plus, Adrian tended to use them for his own gain like during poker nights.
"The colors mean a lot of different things depending on how they're combined with each other and in what intensity."
There was always the chance Phoebe could see them herself as well as feel them. She hadn't given that much thought until now. "Do you ever see them?"
