Glory had spent her time during the snowstorm alone, plotting. She had waited long enough in getting her Key back, and she was growing highly impatient. She hated having to wait for things that were hers, and now she was at her absolute limit. She wanted her Key and she wanted it NOW.
Erin had said that she couldn't find it at the prison, but Glory still suspected that they were hiding it there. It was the highest concentration of people in the area, plus it had the Slayer and her little buddies that were still amongst the living in there. It had to be in there somewhere. It was only a matter of finding the damn thing and getting the hell out of this rancid cesspool of a dimension. Why didn't people understand that she just wanted to go HOME?
The only thing that was making this place remotely tolerable was the fact that her minions were starting to come back to her. It warmed her black little heart to see things like sacrifices going around for her. Made her feel all aglow inside. Plus, they were bringing her gifts of shoes and clothes and bath salts, and what god wouldn't love that?
She didn't necessarily hear that someone was near her home, but she had the feeling that something was amiss. Things were too quiet. Another petty soldier coming to fight her? This could be fun. She needed a good stretch of the legs, after all. She rose from her lounge, heading over to the window and peeking out, seeing if she spotted anyone outside.
