Glory had honestly forgotten that, sometimes, when teased, dogs bite. Despite not wanting to show any weakness, she couldn't help but scream when Sesshomaru sank his teeth into her skin. She could tell that she had done some damage to him, but her wounds needed tending to as well. Anything in this dimension that could actually cute into her skin was serious business.
She stood up after crashing into a tree (knocking it down in the process), cradling her arm as she looked at him. She was almost sure that she could finish him off before he could hurt her more. Almost, and she wasn't sure she liked those odds. "We're not done here," she said with a manic smile. "I'll be back with a bigger newspaper next time."
She turned and fled, HATING having to do it but knowing that, sometimes, it was better to live today and fight tomorrow. She NEVER wanted to be too weak to get her Key back, after all.
