She was ignoring any injuries inflicted on her as well. She considered any sort of injury minor, after all. She was one who could have her head cut off and she'd just reach down and pop it back on. Anything caused by any creature here was but a trifle!
"They may be only shoes to you, but they're important to me!" she protested. He was a mongrel, though. She didn't really expect him to understand the importance of shoes.
She sneered when he actually changed. "You're really a dog? Oh my god, that is so cute! Would you run away if I threw a stick for you to fetch! No wonder you went for my shoes! Dogs ALWAYS go for the shoes." She wasn't taking him seriously at all, despite his size. "Still, I'll punish you if you insist on being a bad dog. You're a little big to swat on the nose with a newspaper, so I guess I'm gonna have to use my bare hands!" With that, she started doing her damnedest to pummel him, moving as fast as she could around him and hitting him everywhere that she could get to.
