"You had no worries, Elena. Just like you said, you felt free without certain and all cares. No one was able to control your emotions, or manipulate you into feeling a certain way." He watched her for only a moment before he looked off, nodding to certain memories when he felt nothing as well. It was most certainly easier to have indifference than to rather feel as though he had a responsibility to those that did not deserve it.
"Of course not, but your well being past or present is important to me, Elena." His eyes were on her and he turned his body toward her, standing right in front of her.
"I wanted to ask you about the magic that was used against my siblings. Your prison took them in their most vulnerable state, but you have told me that you weren't around for it. So I see no point inquiring about it. I've spoken to Rebekah and once I see her, we will go in depth."
