Who: Adrian, Jill, and Neal later with Rose and Dimitri and even later Shannon What: Rescuing the mighty guardians and slayer from the big bad snow. When: Tuesday Where: All over the wilderness Warnings: No clue, but not likely.
After the party was over Adrian noticed again the absence of a few key people, the guardian duo being amoung them. He left the party later with Jill and checked in with the sentry on duty at the front gate. He and Rose had checked out together just before the wine party started to go out looking for Shannon after she made a distress call. Not news that Adrian wanted to hear. They hadn't checked back in since Sunday and no one had heard back from Bonnie or Shannon either. Great. He didn't think they'd all been attacked, but the snow storm had been a monster all on its own.
Even I he'd wanted to keep the information from Jill he couldn't have. She met him back at his cell almost immediately and demanded they go out and search for the others. "It's going to be impossible to find anyone out there while it's still snowing," he told her.
"I'll be able to control it. Snow is just another form of water." She pointed out and he saw that look that said she wasn't going to drop this until they did something or they heard from the others. He finally gave in, but insisted they wait at least a day to see if the network came back on. His own guardian was out at the inn with Azazeal, so she wasn't there to go with them. She also wasn't there to get pissed at him for leaving without proper protection, but if capable guardians were stranded in the snow shouldn't that mean the zombies should be frozen right now? They weren't the brightest crayons in the pack and all they cared about was getting their next meal, not stopping to check if their toes were going to freeze off or not.
Jill agreed that they'd wait, but in the meantime he felt his worry grow stronger. He knew they probably needed to say something to Neal about their rescue trip, so on the next morning and it was still coming down hard, Adrian went to find Neal to let him know. Jill was on his heels already bundled up to leave. The sentry wouldn't like it but they were still going out in pairs. Jill could serve as his buddy just fine and he'd compell their way out if he had to.
Reaching Neal's cell, he leaned in without bothering to knock. Could you even knock on a cell door?
"Jill and I are going to go search for Dimitri, Rose, and Shannon." He sat up and looked like he was about to protest, so Adrian cut him off. "Jill can control water, so she'll be able to clear us a way there." He looked at Jill to confirm and she nodded.
