Loki couldn't quite explain how a being fed on the sanity of people, either. His form of mind control had been granted by the Tesseract. He had magic that could influence people, but never take their mind completely like he had been able to do with the spear. Frankly, what the so-called hellgod could do frightened him somewhat. He was taking her seriously, at least in that one way.
"I understand that's the way that she feeds," Loki said simply. "Nothing even I've ever heard of before, actually." She was from a different dimension, though, so that left the door open as to explanations. He wished that he could do more research on the dimension that the creature was from, but maybe he could learn more with a confrontation.
"That actually might not be a bad idea," Loki conceded. The more that confronted her, the better, right? It wasn't like the young vampire that had been attacked in the prison. Eric was far older and more powerful. Certainly he would survive an encounter with the blond woman.
"I suppose this means that I should arrange something with Thor then," Loki said with the slightest of huffs. He really didn't relish in talking with him, but this was something that had to be done. Then at least he could be left alone again to think and plot in private. For all that he wanted to do with this world, having it dragged into a hell dimension wasn't one of them. Thus, it would be this one time that he would work well with others.
