An eye roll was Tara’s first response. For a girl who was comfortable around vampires, it amazed her how she jumped at a mere voice. That and her former best friends shriek was quite annoying. It was bad enough that they were both now in the same cabin with weather conditions growing worse by the second outside. If she was going to have to deal with the blonde shrieking then things were going to wind up being extremely difficult. Her brow raised when Sookie took a step forward. Immediately the thought that the girl had gone insane ran through her mind. She had thought she’d made it clear that she would never forgive the blonde or her cousin for what they had put her through. Yes, they were the only family she had left from her human life and it was a slight comfort to know that she was at least alive, but forgiving them and allowing things to go back to the way that they once were; that wasn’t going to happen.
“Clearly my words from before meant nothin’ to ya if you actually thought that I’d want to talk to you.” Tara said with a scowl on her face. If the blonde came any closer she would get up and move but for the moment the distance between them was bearable. “What I’m doin’ out here is none of your damn business.” Like hell was she going to tell Sookie that she had been out searching for her cousin. That was nearly admitting that she was worried about him and that was something that she would like to keep to herself.
