Who: Barney Barton What: Barney's watching the snow fall Where: His apartment in Everett When: Storm of the Century Status: Narrative Rating: Low
The moment he had arrived in Everett Barney had started stockpiling the food he could get his hands on as well as clothing and blankets. He already had a decent supply in the backpack he carried but with Clint here, he was going to be staying. And when he had seen the darkening sky, he figured a storm was brewing, though he hadn't been expecting a blizzard like this. Still, he was as prepared as he could be in the current situation of the world and he had no desire to leave his room or building unless his survival depended on it.
Sitting by the fireplace, he roasted some of the meat he had stored and glanced out at the window, unable to tell where the sky was and where the ground was with how much snow was falling. Sipping on some coffee he had made he got up and moved to the window, staring out of it. "You better survive brother..." he muttered to no one in particular. He knew Clint would though. Clint was wily and resourceful just like he was. As he stared out of the window he thought back to the converstation he had had with Black Widow on the net. Maybe he should hold off some on killing his brother...at least for now... He sighed and finished his coffee before he headed back to the fireplace to stoke it and check on the cooking meat.
