Charlie kept her gaze on the window for a moment. God, it was almost like the Nothing had invaded from The Never-Ending Story, but after a quick glance at the guys, she had the feeling that this particular audience wouldn't quite appreciate the reference, and so she kept it in her head, making a mental note to tell Willow when she got back to the prison.
God. Willow. She would be freaking out if she saw this, Charlie suspected, and hoped that the snowstorm wasn't so bad back there. Tony's words cut through her reverie and her head snapped around to him. She blinked, then nodded, flashing a quick grin. "Yeah, 'course. I'm on it." Turning, she jogged back to the main control room and started to flip switches and levers, shutting down most of the power to the outer parts of the base - except those connected to security, just to be on the safe side. They didn't want to wake up tomorrow with zombies stumbling in through the snow like...well, like Romero's creatures on crack. Because that'd just be wrong.
After she finished, keeping the power on in pretty much just the main building they were in, Charlie headed back to the other two just in time to catch Clint's words, and dutifully grabbed her coat from where she'd tossed it over a table, pulling it on and zipping it up. "Why not the building we're in?"
