Lately, the inn had grown almost too quiet for Claire. Sure, Malachi was still there some of the time, and Viktoria visited, and Azazeal was there most of the time, but it was still kind of quiet for Claire. She'd gotten used to having people around, and had started to take to sitting in the main room of the inn and curling up under a blanket to just gaze out the window. She mainly looked for any passing travelers or zombies - or any threats - but all of the above were kind of rare, and generally she ended up falling asleep, as she had just a couple hours earlier, watching the snow fall. Snow wasn't something she was too used to, having spent most of her life in her hometown of Odessa, and watching the flakes seemed to have a calming affect, eventually sending her into a doze.
A sudden banging on the door had the blonde's head coming up, and her eyes widened when she saw the snowstorm outside. She blinked the sleep from her gaze, almost thinking she imagined the sound, before she heard it again. Shoving off the blanket, she moved to her feet and headed for the door. Pulling it open, Claire blinked again, this time at seeing two people, half covered in snow, standing there. Stepping back, she reached out to grab the arm of the one closest to her, drawing him inside. "Wow, come in. Are you two okay? When did all this start...I fell asleep and had no idea it got this bad." Eyes as blue as the Caribbean glanced outwards, worried for a moment, and she hoped that her friends were safe under shelter. Pushing the door shut as the two stood shivering in the lobby, she locked it to prevent the wind from blowing in, then turned to them as she straightened the edge of her purple sweater, tugging it down over the hem of her jeans.
"You guys should get out of those wet clothes...I'll build up the fire." Heading over to the large fireplace, she started to add a few pieces of wood to the smoldering ashes to stir the flames to life again.
