As they made their way towards the cabin, Liz did her best to clear a path for them but it only did so much. She had used her power so much that by the time they got there, she was getting tired. It took alot of energy out of her to use any one of the powers that she had if she used them for more than quick bursts. She wasn't exhausted by any means this time but she definitely needed to sit down for a while and rest. She was so grateful when they finally got to the cabin so they could get out of the storm. She was happy to see it was Selene, a women she had chatted with once before. She had planned on visiting her at some point but certainly not like this.
"Thank you so much, Selene" She told her as she walked in and kicked off her boots as she took off her wet jacket and hat. She thought she had prepared herself for the snow but clearly she hadn't. Watching Selene throw more wood into the fireplace, she walked over to it after she was undressed and stuck her hand out, using her power to make the fire bigger and hotter. It wasn't enough to be out of control, but enough to make the place a little bit warmer. Hearing what Selene asked, she turned around and took a towel from her, drying off as she answered.
"It completely took us by surprise" She replied, looking over to Kennedy for a moment. "One minute there was a light dusting of snow and the next minute we couldn't see anything infront of us"
