Sam had taken to observing Viktoria quietly. He was in the middle of taking a sip of his drink when he unceremoniously choked. Once the girl dropped the word 'stalked' on him, he started hacking. She was quite direct, Sam figured that was plain to see given her introduction, but holy shit, did she just own up to stalking his brother? He coughed into his arm, still staring at Viktoria with absolute bewilderment. Once his lungs were finally clear, he managed to gather enough words to try and pull a sentence together. "Well, um... that's pretty inte-"
Before Sam could keep attempting to string words together, or figure out if her quirkiness was really just a language barrier, his thoughts were scattered when Viktoria reached forward and touched him. He knew he was still jumpy, but normally he had enough warning when it came to the nurses for him to be able to cover that up. He flinched when she moved the cloth, but tried to disguise it by taking another drink of his hot chocolate. She was asking questions he was barely okay with hearing from his own brother, but not only was she a friend of Dean's, she clearly meant well. The hot chocolate definitely earned her points, and so did the fact she knew Dean. Given his track record, she wasn't nearly as shady as he would guessed if he had anticipated that a friend of Dean's was popping in for a visit. He chose to ignore the question about the burn, but he moved on with conversation.
"I'm definitely feeling better, thanks." There was another pause for a quick drink and contemplation before he continued. He wanted to believe there was something very trusting and trustworthy about Viktoria, but he knew better than to immediately accept it as truth without a second thought. However, that didn't mean that he couldn't ease up, so Sam offered a weary half-smile. If anything, at least she understood some of his frustrations. "You're right about that. Does your brother handle being worried over in return as well as Dean does?" Sam joked lightly before finishing his hot chocolate. "Yeah, kind of. I talked to him for a little bit on the network," he nodded to his half-closed laptop. "Haven't met my new roommate though."
