At first his question didn't bring any real reaction, her mind still a little foggy in the best of ways after their kiss. When they had broken up for air, she found herself realizing how glad she was that he had shown up, although that thought alone made another one quickly interject and point out that maybe it wasn't a good idea to get so excited. Not about a potential relationship, because wasn't everything nowadays temporary? Besides, Robin Scherbatsky was not made for relationships. Her track record showed that very clearly - she hadn't even been able to make it work with the one person she had been able to see herself eventually marrying. How was she expected to do that now, in the middle of a damn apocalypse?
When his words actually clicked, her smile diminished slightly as she gave a shrug. "Oh, you know. Needed some fresh air in the form of a cigarette." And she wasn't lying. She knew it was a filthy habit, but it was one that she hadn't been able to break throughout the years just yet.
"And I think I got a little homesick," Robin admitted, almost as an afterthought as she busied herself by adjusting his jacket. She wasn't one for emotions, had yet to fully learn how to really deal with them, but she trusted Dean enough to admit part of what she had been thinking about. "I'm fine, I just needed some air."
