Buffy smiled to herself. It was light, but it was on her face when she spoke of Connor. There were so many wrongs that happened when it came to Connor, but he easily told Buffy that it was alright. That he knew it wasn't her, but it was. It was her. She wanted him. She wanted to keep him and ... do that whole sire thing with him. She swallowed at that. It was something that Dawn would never have to know about, but she knew that Connor was so determined to put others before himself. That was something she learned that day and she knew that Connor would do anything for Dawn.
"Well, Miss Summers, you are beautiful," she grinned at her sister. Anyone who didn't see that was blind or stupid, or you know, both. Buffy hadn't talked to Spike much since being back and she knew she had to. She caught him, watching her just like she caught that Salvatore guy, but unlike Damon, she didn't mind Spike as much. She just didn't know what to say to him. Or what he would say to her. The 'I told you so's,' or the complete opposite, the 'I wish I could have saved you,' speeches was not really wanted. So she was doing that whole avoiding the Spike until she could handle what he said. He seemed to always speak the truth, he always burned into her somehow.
"I think he's good for you. I mean, as a friend, you know? It seems that everything he's doing is for you. To make sure you're safe. He's one of the people here that I trust fully with you. I know I can count on him."
