"We'll figure it out. Clearly the way to approach this is as a group. Maybe we can get a better understanding of her vulnerabilities if she meets up with some Gods I know." The funny thing was, Steve didn't doubt for a second that Thor and Loki were demi Gods. He didn't even doubt this crazy woman was a Hell God. Yet Steve only truly believed in one God, and he wasn't beyond praying to Him for Him to lend a hand.
Tentatively, he raised his arm and found he didn't want to scream in agony. "I'm going to live Doc. A few more hours and I'll be close to good as new." He watched Alec, and tried to get a read on the younger man. He was not happy about this at all, but he could have sworn he saw a glimpse of worry on his face.
"Thank you for coming for me, Alec. I think we both know what would have happened if you hadn't." Steve had no problem giving thanks and gratitude to others. Nor did he have a problem pointing out that Alec had done a selfless thing here. He could have ran when Steve told him too, and Steve wouldn't have held it against him. He had people to live for.
"I was out trying to find a missing friend with another friend. Glory planned to sacrifice one of us and kill the other, so I held her off so my friend could get away. She was human. There would have been no way for me to protect her and survive as well. Please make the others you're with aware not to approach Glory alone. We don't need to give this...thing more kills."
