Without hesitation, Alec laid into the blond bitch with the machine gun he brought with him. He didn't believe in this Glory, hell God, whatever. A few words on a network? Yeah, wasn't impressed, but he never thought that Steve would set him up or even make him believe he was getting set up.
The last time Steve called him out for a little meet and greet, Alec knew what was up. They handled it and moved on. When he got the message from Steve tonight though? Alec grabbed something bigger and heavier, ya know, just in case and picked the prettiest one from his collection that he took from the Navy base thanks to Buffy when she was evil.
Alec was a blur throughout the wilderness, only stopping when he heard voices. Her yammering and Steve's mouth spoutin' off manners. It wasn't time for that but that was something that would never change about Steve. He was an all American, hence the name. He was one of the people that he'd met in a long while that he respected around here. Except for Rebekah. He loved her through and through.
No matter what.
Glory turned facing him and whoa, did she look annoyed. "Yeah, get in line," he dismissed her and his eyes went a little wide because the next thing that happened was Alec getting slammed against a tree. He fell with a slump and realized that even with his enhanced speed, expert reflexes - it didn't fucking matter. He didn't catch it and wasn't fast enough.
"The fuck?" He frowned, picking himself up, rolling his neck as he did so.
