Glory liked to talk to hear the sound of her own voice. She naturally seemed to enjoy talking at a great length. Still, it did nothing to distract her from what was going on around her. Her mind ran a little faster than a normal humans, and she could catch little things that most wouldn’t. Like how she could almost see the hesitance in Steve, likely because he was one of those who didn’t like to hit women. Fun.
“I get around in them fine, so they work for me,” Glory said, smiling as he hit the tree, listening to the wood crack underneath his frame. “Ooh, you just bounce right back, don’t you?” she asked, watching him as he managed to get back up pretty much immediately. “Makes me want to hit you again and again just to see how long it takes until you stop getting up and count.” She pretty much saw this as a game. Had to be insulting to him.
When he threw himself at her again and all but bounced back off, she just kind of tilted her head. “You know, most people fight with a weapon of some type, or did you not get the memo.” She liked the started look on his face as she walked over to him, not seemingly like she was in a hurry at all. She grabbed him by his arm and yanking him up, likely jerking his shoulder out of socket when she did so, but she wasn’t really paying any mind to that.
“Now it’s my turn, though,” she said, grinning as she whipped him around, throwing him into another tree. “Probably should have ran with your girlfriend. I mean, I’ll hunt her down after I’m done with you, but you would have at least gained yourself a few more minutes.”
