Glory had come out today because there were spells that needed to be done. Spells that occasionally needed things like natural objects like pine needs and rocks and all sorts of stupid mundane things that she could only get from the woods. She was also supposed to get fawn blood, fresh from the fawn, and she couldn’t help but roll her eyes at the very idea of it.
“This is what I’m supposed to have minions for,” she grumbled as she walked. Even though she was wearing an expensive pair of heels (Glory just did not understand the idea of ‘sensible shoes’), her steps were sure and steady as she walked across the ground. She had spotted a fawn and was trying to sneak up on it. Despite the hells and dress that she was wearing, she was actually quite stealthy, and the fawn had no idea that she was coming.
Until she heard footsteps slowly coming up from behind a patch of woods near her. The fawn jerked back and, after seeing her, took off into the wilderness. She could easily catch the thing, but now Glory was intensely irritated at whatever or whomever it was that had just scared off her fawn.
“First you people are stealing and hiding my Key, and now you’re scaring off my sacrifices,” Glory said with a roll of her eyes, turning and looking toward where the noise was coming from. “You people walk like elephants! I hope to high hell that you aren’t trying to be stealthy, because you suck TREMENDOUSLY at it.” Whomever these people were, she was going to waste them just for disturbing her.
