"No Ma'am. I'm alright. Thank you." Steve could not get drunk. The serum had ensured that, but he did indulge in the occasional rounds of beer with friends at time. It was more the ritual of the past he had before than for trying to drink away his stress. If anything, he hadn't been one to want to give into intoxication when stress levels was high. A clear head was needed to face the enemy.

He nodded at her when she accepted his offer to come with her. "I understand. I took a lot of walks after New York." Maria would understand without further explanation. He was the man out of time. Now they were all out of place, trying to cope with building civilization out of ruins. "I don't believe he's gone for good. Whatever happened, I think he will find his way back." He offered her a reassuring smile as they headed out. Soldiers wasted no time in getting to work, and Maria was as much as a soldier as he was. "Unless we find him first, which is our goal today."
Steve kept his eyes alert, scanning the area for any sign of where Bruce may have run off to when he was in Hulk form. Snow had fallen since then, but he tried to tune his enhanced senses in to getting a read of the area. His only real worry was that Bruce had run into the Hell God, but he wasn't going to express that. There was no need to worry her, and chances are she might have had that on her mind as well. He walked softly, but quickly, careful not to draw attention to either of them.
