"I'll speak with Kol, I've not doubt he'll fall in line if he already hasn't." He stood up and refilled his glass and stood there drinking a minute before filling it again and taking his seat. He knew this was a strategic move but he would have to convince the little slayer that they were on their side for this battle and this battle only. This was no solid truce by any means and he aimed to gain as much knowledge as he could.
"I'll also speak with the slayer as well, Faith is her name correct? Kind of a fitting name for a leader I suppose. I'll have to be very careful with her and convince her we're here to help, set her at ease." He leaned forward and stared at the fire for a few minutes wondering exactly how the Salvatore clan would react to this revelation. It should be entertaining if anything.
"I'm quite impressed with you Rebekah, finding Adam like you have and Alec? Well he's still as impressive as ever, still a bit of a dick though. Sorry. He's a good match for you and he looked relentlessly for you." He smiled at his sister and prayed that for her sake he didn't turn on them like every other lover Rebekah had taken. He would give her the benefit of the doubt as always and see how things played out.
"I promise you that those involved with our burial will pay dearly. I haven't forgotten about that it just seems to need to be put on hold for a spell." He leaned back comfortably in the chair and thought about all the possibilities the future held for their revenge. It would be sweet, oh yes it would be sweet.
