"Only the best." Rebekah smiled at Adam. The whiskey was good and even Adam seemed to appreciate it. "Adam, why don't you take a look around the grounds. There's three cabins here all hooked up to the main generator. I'll catch up with you."
She didn't bother to warn him about the others that roamed the grounds including an adult tiger. She knew that Toby wouldn't bother him, Alec might but she would deal with that if it came down to it. She had no idea whether her brother's little trollop or Jondy would bother Adam. She had no doubts he could protect himself. So she simply watched him go before she looked at her brother, her expression suddenly very serious.
"Nik, what do you intend to do about this Glory problem?" she asked him. He was The General, Nik always made the big decisions and everyone else fell in line. He had a special bond with each of them, even though Rebekah was his favorite and he hers. She knew that Alec didn't believe in Glory but she had seen all the evidence she needed to and even having a witch on their side may not be enough. She wanted to know where her brother stood on the issue.
She sat down on one of his sofas, lounging lazily with one arm up on the edge, one knee primly crossed over the other. "We haven't really had a chance to chat since waking up." Which was why she had sent Adam out through the door.
