"Right down to business, is it?" she asked him playfully. It was interesting that he and the other one were effected by the same spell. What purpose did that serve exactly other than making them zombie bait? The prison thought they could throw their weight around in Everett but Rebekah wasn't ready to give it up. And their biggest advantage were the magic users.
Rebekah was more than certain that she had strength on her side. She and Klaus and Kol were practically unkillable. They were impossibly strong and fast, easily faster than they were. There were also the others to keep in mind. She had the feeling that Toby would fall in line. He always had in the past. Nik had his strange little blonde and Kol had his soldier. And there was Alec, of course Alec. Her lieutenant.
"As you said they think they can bully us all whenever they want. I just want some reassurance. I know you have power, I can feel it on you right now." She purposefully took a step closer to him, the corner of her mouth turning up in the slightest of smiles. "I want protection, magical protection. In return I can protect you and yours or I don't know, name it."
She took another step closer to him. She could compel him but she didn't think she needed to. She drank him in with her watery stare, taking another step closer to him. She gently grabbed the front of his shirt and pulled him a little closer.
"But mostly I just want us to be mates." She smiled. "What do you say?"
