Adam wasn't a big fan of the witches in the prison simply because they had been behind a lot of things that had gone wrong around lately. He wasn't sure if it was that they were inexperienced or just being reckless. If he, Melissa and Cassie ever crossed a line too far with the Crystal Skull? Adam wasn't entirely sure what would happen but he would do everything he could to prevent that. They were his family.
"They seem to get things muddled up a bit, don't they?" Adam gave her a half smile after she told her story of what had happened. That also explained why those seeking them had such a hard time finding them. They were six feet under. That made him slightly curious how she looked like nothing had ever happened. He only knew about vampires from movies and this girl was definitely not a usual movie vampire.
"I'm sorry that happened. Melissa and I were victims of the same spell but ... we didn't get buried alive." He slightly regretted the words but realized they were the most accurate. He hefted his backpack up on his shoulder and he stopped. Did she say she thought she was a thousand years back? He had seen some crazy things in Chance Harbor but he suddenly couldn't decide if he was more impressed or more terrified.
"You want something from me, what is it?" He wished he had taken her up on her offer for a drink but he was focused on getting her away from the apartment. Away from Melissa. Cassie was out wandering around somewhere and she had grown distant in a weird way. Now there was a thousand year old vampire charming his pants off and yeah, he was a little worried.
