Who: Viktoria Belikova and James Barnes
What: meeting after the restoration.
When: today at lunch
Where: the grounds of the Inn.
Warnings? Nah
Viktoria loved the sun. She had when she was a little girl, and she loved it more so now that it had been returned to her. When James had asked where to meet, she hadn't hesitated in the least. Outside of the inn, they'd have a picnic, and they could sit in the sun. Viktoria did a bit of cooking, some Russian dishes, and some things that she enjoyed and thought James would of American cuisine. There was plenty of food to heat up as well. Apparently Azazeal had busied himself while the others were resting.
Gathering enough food to make a picnic basket that could be turned into a buffet, she grabbed a bottle of wine and two big blankets along with plates and utensils and glassware. Water bottles were included as well. Everything was ready to go. Everything but Viktoria.
She was feeling a bit more like her old self now, but she had nightmares when she slept. Of things that she had done with her captors, and of things she had wanted to do to others, but fought herself from giving in. Some dreams were not nightmares at all. They felt dreamless and she savored sleep. Soon they would return to what would become her new home, and she would face living with a bunch of strangers, but for now she relished the time she had at the Inn.
When she was upstairs, she dressed in warm clothes. Pants that hugged all the right places, but that were thick enough to fight the cold. Warm thick socks and waterproof boots. A shirt, sweater and a jacket, just in case. She was still adjusting to feeling temperatures after all. She spent a bit of time brushing her so it looked manageable with it's long dark waves, and even added some makeup. Nothing dramatic, but now that she wasn't so pale, she liked how she looked with it on. By the time she was done, she collected the basket and let out a side door to meet James when he arrived.
She wondered how he would view her now, given he had only known her as a Strigoi, but she hoped he would still consider this a good thing, not bad. Laying out the blankets, she made a spot for them where the sun could rain down it's warmth despite the snow beneath them. She doubted she would have to wait long for him to arrive.
