Okay, this was one of those times where Rose kind of felt useless. There was nothing physical for her to fight off but it seemed that Lissa and her sister could do most of the fighting on this playing field. But somehow she knew she was standing where she should be, holding both of the Dragomir sister's hands and facing the undead head on.
She was very glad to see Jill take care of Victor and Nathan but that still left the Dragomir family behind and suddenly Rose very much felt like the outsider. Apparently she wasn't the only one with the speech that Jill gave. If anyone deserved time with Eric it was probably her but only because she had missed out on all that time. Then again, maybe she didn't know what she had missed, reasoned Rose. She hadn't felt Abe's absence in her life until the crazy old man had shown up.
They did feel like part of Rose's family, she had spent so much time around them with Lissa while her own parents were off doing what they did. Holidays, vacations, whatever- Rose was an honorary Dragomir. She had been best friends with Lissa since they were five. But she didn't want to take any time away from Lissa.
"Maybe we should both go?" she asked. She was mostly asking Lissa. If Lissa wanted to stay then Rose wasn't going anywhere and maybe they could convince Jill to stay too. She didn't know. "God, you guys look exactly like I remember you."
Rhea Dragomir was breathtaking with her sunshine colored hair that matched her daughter's. Eric's jade green Dragomir eyes sized them all up and Andre was as sexy as always. Not that Rose ever thought about him that way.
