Who: Stefan and Faith What: Stefan getting what he wants Where: Some room in the prison When: Nowish Warnings: Stefan wants to breathe that fire again.
Stefan was a little more than stunned after his talk with Damon. Damon's concern for his brother was overwhelming and he felt that it came from a place of guilt. Guilt for Elena, guilt for being happy with Elena, knowing that Stefan was still trying to get over it. Stefan always put on a brave face, he always wanted Elena to make her own decisions, probably because deep down he thought she'd always pick him. But things had changed, and maybe Stefan had himself to blame. He let her slip away, maybe that was his intention, everything was so foggy now that thinking about it just left him more confused. All he wanted was for Elena to be happy and he'd never blame her for that, even if she was happy with his brother. But, Damon ... there was that underlying tone in their voices, the side glares and this was coming from Stefan. Damon had been trying to push himself inside, wanting to know what Stefan was doing, what he was thinking and Stefan was at a standstill. He felt lost, but he wanted to project to Damon that everything was fine.
And what does that make you, Stefan? Endebted to her?
Katherine helped him. No one knew that he went to her, not that he was aware of, but Damon knew. There was no use hiding it, it wasn't worth it and of course, Damon didn't approve. The prison benefited from the supplies that he got from her. Everything had changed, the world was different and Katherine was more of an ally and less of an enemy. Stefan did turn a blind eye to what was going on ... what did that make of him? Was he a monster, or just someone that would do whatever it would take to make sure his friends were safe? There was a fine line.
Stefan headed out from his cell and walked the halls to the opening so he could be outside. He felt trapped, crowded, people were everywhere. He noticed Allison in the tower and Bonnie and Jeremy by the gate, talking. Turning, slowly, he noticed Faith talking to someone before she turned away, not even giving him a glance. He turned away, looking down at his hands that were now balled into fists and his first response was to just leave, go to town, maybe get that karaoke machine that C was so hellbent on getting, but instead, he turned, walking back inside the prison. His eyes were on Faith, her hair, her body and he remembered how it was that night. He felt like he was needed and he craved it again. There were so many emotions that were rolling through him at the moment, mainly anger and loneliness and he wanted to take something instead of everything being taken from him. He wanted to claim her so to speak, he wanted her to realize that he wasn't someone to just be thrown out.
Reaching for her, he grabbed her hand, spinning her toward him and she started to say something, probably swear at him. "Don't, just shut up," he said and closed the distance between them, his mouth crashing down on hers as he pulled her into a room. He kicked the door closed with his boot and pushed her back with his body against the wall, kissing her soundly, just wanting to forget about everything for the moment. Katherine, Damon, Elena ... all of it.
