Who: Christian and Spike (possible Malachi and Buffy cameo idk)
What: using the buddy system
When: tonight
Where: they start at the prison...
Warning: zombie violence, language and extreme hilarity probably.
Christian had barely woken up from his slumber when he saw the posts on the net announcing the enforcement of the buddy system. Thor probably thought the young fire warrior had lost it when he began to laugh. It wasn't funny that it was needed. No, it was just to a Royal Moroi who had grown up knowing that it was expected of Moroi to have Guardians, this was funny. It was not likely that most people had any idea what it was like to give in to knowing your chances of ever being completely alone outside the prison was gone. People liked their privacy, but times were changing. The threats were getting more complicated, and sometimes to protect yourself, you had to sacrifice something else.
When he saw Spike had posted looking for someone to take a walk with, he jumped on the opportunity. His roommate needed to take a walk? He'd be a piss poor roomie not to offer a hand, right? Right. He came in just before sunset and went to their room long enough to throw his stuff back in cell. He'd do a proper check in with the others when he got back. Besides, if anyone was curious where he was, if they didn't assume he was still with Thor, they could check the sign out sheet. No problem.
He'd fed from Thor before arriving back, so he was all set to join Spike at the sheet. With a smirk he signed his name, the time they were leaving and for when they expected to be back he wrote in: Before sunrise: sun allergies for us both. That should be sufficient enough to keep anyone from following them. It wasn't until they were out of the prison and away from the gate that led them away from the entire population that he instinctively lit Spike's cigarette with his Moroi magic as he fell in step with the older man. He couldn't quite read his expression, but Christian figured he just wanted to get out for a bit.
"What's up? I'm guessing this stroll isn't actually a raid, yeah?" He kept his hands loose at his sides. His pale blue eyes scanned the area around them, his ears listening intently, all in the effort of knowing if something was out there that they needed to be prepared for. Truth be told, Christian wouldn't mind killing some zombies before they got back in. He'd let off some steam with Thor, but this restoration business was running through his mind constantly. Now that Belikov had decided to go forward, and with knowing what Viktoria had done in captivity it wasn't just what if drills. Adrian was set on performing the restoration, and that made this a reality. They'd have to focus hard, and they'd have to work with both dhampirs to get everything down perfectly. There was one shot to get it right, and they would not waste it. It posed way too many threats to too many people he cared about to risk that.
Trying to clear those thoughts from his head, he glanced at his roommate who had been silent so far. "You okay?"
