========================
Vlad had dealt with the soldiers only a couple times, he found it funny that they actually thought they could capture him. Him! Vlad Tepes. Lord Impaler. Dracula. Of course they fell quickly to his sword, using his bat form teleporting and blade to make easy work of them, plus his Dragon armor seemed menacing. But now something worse had happened, there was a natural disaster in the form of a tsunami. But was it natural? Or was magic the cause. It was difficult to tell in this place. It could have happened for any reason. When it happened, he was unable to stay in the houses, so he had fled to some dark cave outside the city to wait it out.
And while he was capable of weather manipulation as one of his powers? He wasn't about to challenge a storm as great as this magnitude. Once it was over, he had made his way back into the town, a flock of bats flying just after sunset. There was a lot of damage over the city, many buildings damaged. Few beyond repair, others needed work, along with the rare case where the damage was minimal. Now walking on high ground, he was near the woods, the ground still dank wet. He could hear the pounding of a heartbeat close by. Not so much panicked.. controlled, but slightly stressed.
His eyes gazed up one particular, very high tree. His 'second sight' vampire vision, saw a lot of red blood vessels, a beating heart... this was a human. His vision adjusting to normal and he saw it was a woman. Had she climbed up here during the storm? Possibly but now it seemed there was not a way to go back down. Not safely. But he understood, this may very well have been the only safe way to escape, going up. "Milady," he called out to her, waving his hands. "Ma'am? Are you alright? Do you need help coming down? I see it's been quite the dangerous storm recently."
