"People have been coming here for a year now, I think. There has been a lot of panicked drinking going around since then." Plus several parties that have gone on with varying degrees of success. After his own issues that happened at the New Year's party on the beach, Loki had decided to skip the 4th of July party.
"I wander the city a lot...the world, actually. You have to find things to do in an apocalyptic world or you go mad. Thankfully, I can travel much easier than most of the humans in the area." If he were truly trapped in Everett, Loki would be a lot more miserable. "I got curious when I watched someone wander in here and decided to investigate."
"You'll find it hard for many of them to be neighborly enough to leave supplies behind for others to find. The prison itself has a lot of people to feed and clothe." He didn't really begrudge them of it. They weren't quite to the point of 'everyone for themselves,' but they each thought about their own groups first. He understood it.
