Who: Oliver and Faith
Where: Prison - Training Area
What: Ollie meets a Slayer
Warnings: N/A
When Oliver was stranded for five years on Lian Yu he learned how to survive being alone. In those five years Oliver not only had to deal with being taken off the island and brought back but he had to develop fighting skills and be taught how to kill. In a way this was the same thing. Oliver was in a prison that he couldn't exactly escape from because outside of the prison the world was very much gone. Surviving out there alone seemed impossible so the decision was made to stay close, to be a part of this group of other survivors who had no idea how or why they were brought to "this" world.
His persona as The Green Arrow was no longer a part of him. Oliver didn't have the need to wear a mask and save a city. The prison was now Oliver's home and the people there were his responsibility. He did his best to help them, to teach them how to use weapons and to give them pointers on how to kill the zombies. As Sentry he was determined to make a difference which was why he accepted Faith's proposal of being one of the council leaders. He knew it would give him a place and a voice.
While he wasn't sure what his voice could do Oliver knew that he would mainly use his actions to demonstrate whatever he needed to. Right now he was doing just that as he finished up his training regime. He needed a shower but for now a towel was used to wipe off the sweat that had built up above his brow and his neck. He was taking a breather when he heard someone else enter the makeshift gym.
Faith wasn't someone to be taken likely. He had watched her fight while managing the other sentry scouts and had witnessed first hand what she was capable of. Oliver could tell that she was strong - maybe even supernaturally which wasn't shocking considering what Kara Danvers could do. This wasn't the first time Oliver had encountered someone who wasn't quite normal.
"Come to destress?" Oliver asked, his head nodding to some of the hung bags filled with sand that they managed to put together to act as punching bags.
