Of all the things she was expecting to hear, it's my day off wasn't one of them. Did anyone who worked for Rebekah and Klaus truly have a day off? Elena didn't think so but she had to admit not knowing much of the complicated intricacies that Klaus and Rebekah oversaw. She just knew that she didn't want to be part of it and even if she did, Klaus and Rebekah hated her.
"Wallow in your humanity?" she asked him curiously. She could almost hear Damon's voice in her head asking her if she was stupid and urging her to run while she still had the chance. This guy obviously wasn't interested in turning her in. But the longer she stuck around, the more dangerous the situation could become. Yet she didn't want to just leave him here.
"You're not happy.....doing what you do?" she asked, trying to be diplomatic about it. It was hard to be diplomatic about murder and kidnapping though.
