Her eyes narrowed slightly, and she tilted her head while studying him for a long moment. Thanks to the serum the Red Room had injected her long ago, she had learned that she aged much slower than the average human, and so she only looked to be in her mid thirties, when in reality she was in her fifties. When she spoke, her voice was dangerously quiet. "You wanted some air. And I suppose stepping out the front door and staying within the traps didn't occur to you? Instead, you chose to sneak out, and worry me without giving me any idea as to where you wanted to go or for how long?" Shaking her head, she pushed off the windowsill with a sigh.
"James...I know you get restless and you feel as though I'm around too often. But I only do it to keep you safe. To keep us both safe."
