Cora Hale ([info]animosity) wrote in [info]zfuturelogs,
"Well that was a bit rude," Rebekah said with some amusement in her voice as she approached Sesshomaru. "All he wanted was a taste, you could hardly blame him." Although her words were meant to scold she had a small smile on her face. It had been a long time since she had seen Sesshomaru and she had missed him. The vampire he had killed was a nobody, a minion, easily replaceable.

She stopped following him as he turned to face her. "What? No hug for an old friend then?" Her smile broadened as she watched him. She had heard that Sesshomaru had returned from Japan but hadn't quite believed it. There wasn't much that happened in Everett that Rebekah didn't know about. She had finger on the pulse of the newly minted Vampire Town. It was her town, well her and Nik's when he was interested anyway. Rebekah liked things to go her way and Nik was particular in his own way. She knew it was just a matter of time before one of them daggered the other.

But this time she would be ready for him. Rebekah had made herself powerful allies, vampires who were loyal to her and not to her brother. Of course, she would never tell Nik that. As far as her brother knew, Rebekah held him with nothing but the fondest regards. While it was true Rebekah did love her brother, she often grew tired of his ill temper and still held a grudge for the way he had tried to replace her with his precious hybrids.

She returned her attention and thoughts back to Sesshy. "How have you been? Tired of Japan?"
