"Aliens wouldn't have been the worst guess," Edwin reluctantly admitted to Georgie as they made it the rest of the way down the stairs. A lot of people had gathered, which was fine by him. At least they knew that, for the most part, people weren't getting hurt by this catastrophe. Unless, of course, the people who had made it down there were the only ones not hurt, but it seemed more likely that people were just too scared to leave the false security of their own beds.
He started after Cecilia, reaching for her to slow her down, but not catching up to stop her. "You're shaking so badly that we can see it from the stairs, you shouldn't be doing first aid," he pointed out. He put his hand down when he was close to her, his brow creasing at her new stance.
