Who: Tobias and Lennon
When: Morning
Where: Game room
Tobias still wasn't sure of what to make of where he was. The "endurance tests" the day before had been nerve wracking, but ultimately nothing terribly painful. When the others had led him back to the mansion, Tobias had found a room with his name on it, but no answers had been waiting for him inside. It seemed like no one really knew why they were there, or who had abducted them. Honestly, Tobias was terrified and he had stayed in his room the rest of the night, chewing on his nails and staring outside, wondering how he could get home.
After awhile, he had gotten on the computer and was dismayed, but not surprised, to find no internet. Just messages from strangers, both captives and the abductors. He took a shower and fell asleep shortly after, though his sleep was fitful and restless.
The heat is what woke him. His room hadn't become unbearable, but it was warm enough that Tobias could no longer sleep comfortably. He got up and checked the computer again. The red blinking light seemed to indicate messages were waiting. He did what he was instructed to do and was relieved - if slightly disturbed - when his door seemed to unlock.
Leaving his navy blue hoodie in the room, Tobias ventured out into the house cautiously. His t-shirt, a cream colored shirt with the caption I void warranties, was already feeling damp against his back. Wasn't there a way to turn down the heat in this place?
It was Tobias's first time really exploring the mansion. It was huge and bigger than any house Tobias had ever even stepped foot in. Whenever he heard someone talking, or spotted people in another room, he quickly moved on to the next. It wasn't that he didn't like to socialize, he just... didn't know anyone. What if they were jerks, or creeps? Eventually he came upon what looked like a game room. And it was empty. Tobias slipped inside and began to look around, wanting to see what the arcade games were, and what console games were on the shelf. He wasn't a huge gamer like some of his friends, but playing videos games was a way to pass the time. That thought sparked another wave of panic inside of him. How long would he be here? What if he never made it home? What if he wasted away, playing Pac-Man every day? And jeez was it getting warm. Tobias gripped some material of his shirt to pull it away from his increasingly damp skin.
