Who: Jack, Evie, Pam, and Tobias
Where: Room 5
When: 9am
Tobias didn't know what the hell was going on. He woke with a pounding headache and very little memory of the night before. He had left his apartment to take the trash out... and that was it. And now he was waking up in a windowless room, on a small cot with no clue as to where he was, or why. Panic set in almost immediately and Tobias shot upward, the sudden movement causing a fresh wave of dizziness. He shouted and squeezed his eyes tight before falling from the side of the cot onto the ground.
Despite the disorientation, Tobias kept moving. He crawled several feet, his breathing hitching at the sight of the gym bag once he opened his eyes again. Whatever was in that bag was probably dangerous. A bomb. Human body parts. Dead kittens. Tobias crawled his way across the room until he was at the door. Lifting his hand, he grabbed the doorknob and pulled himself to his feet. His vision had cleared and his muscles didn't feel so heavy now. There was no hesitation and pulling the door open, no consideration that whatever was on the other side could be worse than this creepy room with it's creepy fluorescent lights.
Ahead of him was an even creepier hallway. Tobias stood there in the doorway for only a moment, breathing heavily as he debated. Did he call out for someone? No. He had seen a few scary movies in his lifetime. There would be no one to answer him. No one with good intentions anyway.
"Shit," he muttered weakly. "Shit. Shit. Shit." What the hell was this? Beads of sweat were starting to form on his temple and the back of his neck and Tobias licked his lips, starting down the hallway with some caution. He kept his back to the wall so he could move without having to look over his shoulder every few seconds. If something came out of nowhere to hurt him, he would see it. And then he could run in the opposite direction. Though there was nowhere to go but that room he woke up in. And in the other direction? Tobias wasn't terribly optimistic.
Eventually he came to a large room, one full of chairs and a few weird looking devices. It did nothing to alleviate his fear and Tobias wondered if his kidneys would end up on the black market tomorrow. Maybe they would at least leave him one kidney. "Jesus," he squeaked, wiping his damp palms on his jeans. He tried to call out for someone, it was instinctual, but nothing came out but a strangled sound. Did he stay? Did he run back to that room and see if it locked?
